Hello again! You may or may not know my job title is Cat Nanny! Yup that really is a job, and I have to say it’s probably the best job title to ever have. Especially when I am a crazy cat lady. I wont lie, if I was asked where I saw myself this year I would have never of said I would be working at Maison De Moggy.
As a customer a few years ago I dreamed of working here, working in your slippers, getting to spend time with the babies one on one and just getting to work in such a relaxing environment. I’ve only been a few times before I worked there, so I knew how peaceful it is and how the it sort if runs and works. Although I must admit I never knew all the cats names off by heart when I first started, especially how you say Guillaume name. However, almost a year later and I’m a pro and feel like I’ve really come out my shell with this job. I’ve really become more outgoing, energetic and also gotten over my anxiety.
The most recent customer experience I had before working there was when I took my mum for mother’s day last year. She absolutely loved it there as she is also a fellow crazy cat lady so she was right at home. I’m sure the day we went was a Tuesday, it was after I had an interview at the art university we went to the cat session for the 1:15 slot. It was such a great experience to share with my mum, she loved it and she got her favourite cake, rocky road. The staff who where there at the time were so friendly and welcoming. Because it was quiet session they were more one on one telling us all about the cats and what they like. I remember talking to my mum about how amazing it would be to work there and let alone a few months later I do. It was really enjoyable time and I would recommend it to anyone who like cats or just needs an hour away from life. It is definitely a relaxing place and very therapeutic.
I have to say this is by far the best and my favourite job I have ever had and I love it so much. This is just a little overview of my first experience at Maison De Moggy. I’m going to later do more on what it is about, what to expect when you get there and also about all the wee babies in the cafe.

Hello world! I have been away now for about a year and its be a busy year to say the least. I had to take a step back form my blog to basically sort out my life. I wasn’t in the best mind set and I still had some things dwelling over me that stopped me form putting my complete heart and soul into this. I really didn’t like the way that i went about doing this and i wanted to do it right this time around and 2019 is a new opportunity for me to do so. I have taken a good look at my blog and reconsidered where I want this to go and I have tried to revamp and start somewhat fresh!
Seen as my life is now where I want it and I am surrounding myself with the best people I want to share to you all my dream job at Maison De Moggy. I honestly wouldn’t know what I would do without my work and I would love to share bits and bobs about all the moggys there.
My plan for my blog is to mainly be cat based, if you cant already tell with my new an improved name Katty Gal! I am really looking forward to this and can’t wait to get into this a lot more.
I will be posting again in the next few weeks and I am very excited to get back into the swing of things. I hope I can take some of you on this journey with me!

My name is Kelli, I’m your not average Scottish 21 year old, I am an art and makeup lover. Which may seem average but to top things off I am officially a Cat Nanny at Maison De Moggy in Edinburgh. I am a colour loving busy bee who loves to take new opportunities as they arise and go on adventures with my partner in crime, Jay.
As you can probably tell I am a new to blogging and this is my first every post. It has taken a while to write this as I have the new blogger fear of failure. However, I have finally overcame myself and i am really going to dedicate set time to get this up and running, even if it is only for my self. You may pick up on some writing mistakes here and there throughout my posts, I am dyslexic and it will happen. I have a program to try and pick up on these mistakes and people to read over it but as much like in the past things will get missed, so bare with and some of my typos. Half the time the are amusing typos so hopefully they will bring out a simile like the do most people on my social media’s.
So what’s in my blog for you well I am hoping it will be somewhat entertaining, with your classic reviews post but also some fun cat post, which I mean who doesn’t love. It wont just be about my beloved babies but also my work babies, in total 14 cats. There will also be some tips and tricks on different beauty things which have helped me on a number of different things over the past while. To start things off I will hopefully gets posts done every two weeks or every week. I have two jobs currently as they are both part time and I am trying to save, emphasis on the trying part as I am slightly a shopaholic.
Blogging for me is a chance to get back into writing and prove to myself I can do this, but with who ever reads it I would love your involvement, suggestions on what you want to see and read, and I’m just in general here for a chat, I’ve been told I’m a good listener and if someone out there needs that then I am happy to help. I’m not doing this to get money or thousands of followers etc. I am wanting to do something fun and its a mini project for me. In 3-6 months if I have created a small community of people interested in this then that would mean the world and even if I don’t but i am still enjoying myself with this then I’m going to stick with it.
This is only a short sort of intro about me and just an overlook of my life and what’s up to come. I really wanting to really dig in to this project and get started now that i have finally done my first post. So stay tuned and in the next few weeks you will be introduced to the cutest cat posts and also an insight to my bony life.
